...who feels so grown up :-P
Okay so this post's title is kind of a joke, but kind of not. My 19th birthday was this past week and the "perk" was getting to open a checking account of my very own (for some reason it's 19 at the bank we use) wanting to get it going I went this morning. Now when you have a birthday how often do you get the question "do you feel any different?" or "how does it feel to be...?" you mostly get them with milestone birthdays like 10, 16,18, and 21. But to tell you the truth I've always had the same answer...same, i usually don't feel different on my birthday, or really in the weeks that follow. I am still the same old Caitlin! Now that's not to say that I haven't "grown" in some way or another since say my 10th birthday, but do I feel different at 19 then I did at 18....not really! So back to my point about the checking account, I feel no different today than I did last Tuesday! So there's life for you! :-)

...who watched a Gypsy wedding.
TLC has a new show called "my big fat Gypsy wedding" some of the culture differences are so shocking they seem ridiculous to us! For on thing, according to the show, the dresses can weigh an average of 300lb. That's twice the size of most Gypsy girls. And the average age of marriage for girls is 16. However there are some...refreshing qualities in the Gypsy culture; Although they get married at such a young age, divorce is rare, and Gypsy girls are FORBIDDEN to live with any one (other than parents/family) before they are married. Most of the time, when a girl gets married, most of the time it is to her FIRST boyfriend. Conventional dating customs are frowned upon.
These qualities are refreshing when you look at today's society where the divorce rate is high and girls date over and over til they find "the one" I just thought it was interesting that a society that has a reputation for being immoral and wild (i am not saying that they are saints) keeps to strict, conservative dating and marriage traditions.

...who had a little reminder
I had a little reminder of humanity at work last night. I was on head set, and was very frustrated, i had dealt with sassy people, who whisper into the mic, and diesel trucks. Those are my least favorite...it's like listening to a bucket of bolts rattling in your ear! anyways i can usually tell which trucks are diesel, well here comes a diesel pulls up into the camera view and i turned on the mic and there it was good ol bolt rattles in my ear. The guy driving the truck began his order and the the only word i could make out was "three" now that could have been one of two things; "number THREE" or "number six, THREE count" so to make sure I got his order right I said "I'm sorry sir was that a number 3?" he then replies to me " I'm sorry *engine cuts off* my truck is kinda loud, yes a number three". Well that just made my night 100% better! His little gesture of courtesy made me remember that not everyone on the planet is all bad, and that made me think about the souls that each person has and how God sent Jesus to die for each soul (John 3:16). I believe that God sends us little reminders everyday, it is our responsibility to keep our eyes and hearts open to see them. Hope everyone has a good day! <3

...who taught Bible class
I help with the 3yr old class on sunday mornings. It's fun, I get to learn to teach while see how the children respond to diffrent things. Well this past sunday the normal teacher was out of town so the job fell to me to teach teh lesson of te Lost sheep. I have never taught a parable before, i was kinda nervous. Mom gaver the idea for the craft and I used teh craft to havr a game. For the craft the kids made a little sheep with glued on "whool" and everything, so for the game i hide a sheep that i had made the night before in the class room and the kids had to find teh lost sheep. :-) they really seemed to like that. I think I am getting pretty good at teaching bible class, I don't think I'm ready to take my own class, but I feel confident that I might be soon!
Well there is a post that will not be interesting to most people, but I felt like posting it! Hopes everyone has a Blessed day!

...who started a blog
OK, so here it is, a blog of my very own. I have been pondering the decision to start a blog for a while and decided to go ahead and start one. I think it will be fun, I will be able to share stories and thoughts with my friends and family with as much detail as I want, with no worries about character limit! Now to the name, it came from a Nine Days song of the same title. The lyrics of the song go "...who cried a river and dried a whole world..." The blog title is set as an unfinished sentence, and with each post I will finish the sentence. So lets give this venture a try and I hope y'all enjoy my blog.
